I want to create a class which will provide me 5 or cusomizable number of connection. It will be something like connection(oracle data base) pooling. I can create it by opening multiple connection simultaneously...But is it there any other standard way to do so.

Please help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at the Jakarta DBCP project?
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/dbcp/

You can also find the source code to a connection pool in

Yeah, but how did the squirrel get in there? Was it because of the tiny ad?
