Hi All,

I am trying to call an oracle stored procedure but i get an error

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01745: invalid host/bind variable name

when I try the executeQuery().

My code is as follows:

I unfortunately did not write the procedure or have access to it right now.

Any suggestions on a fix, or even a better description of the error?

Thanks,
Joe

Feeling really stupid about this but the error is in the prepare call :
con.prepareCall("call ? := notification_pkg.process_xml_redeliver(?, ?, ?)");

should be

con.prepareCall("{ call ? := notification_pkg.process_xml_redeliver(?, ?, ?) }");

Graeme (or Joe?),
Actually it should be:

Good Luck,
Avi.
