ORACLE JDBC ERROR ORA-00600

hi,
i am unable to get the data contents in to ResultSet when i use query like "select * from <table-name> where condition" but if the same i query like "select sysdate from dual" it is executing Correctly do not know why? pls. can any one give me solutions my spec. are as follows:
1. Connecting from Oracle 8.1.7 to Oracle 9i server.
2. Error in both OCI and THIN connection
but if the same i worked in my home it is working correctly
3. Connnecting from Oracel 8.1.7 Server to the same
pls. help me with this regard urgently needed.
Error
result : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ttcgcshnd-1], [0], [], [], [], [], [], []

why pls.

Try putting ojdbc14.jar in your classpath. If classes12.zip is present remove that and try connecting with ojdbc14.jar.

The same error was encounter when i was tring Type-IV driver with servlet (though i put jdbc driver in proper dir)but for console application it was working fine. It's sound execution querry time out error.
