CTS gives iPod to its employees

CTS has given video iPod (30GB) to all its employees worldwide (joined before 2005) after being a billion dollar company.

Earlier Infosys gave trainees $500 and seniors $1000 after achiving same status.

Whereas, TCS reduced employees salaries after being 1st billion dollar company in India!

TCS is truly beyond obvious!

You dont get if you join now , they are giving to only people who joined before 2005

Then why attrition rate in TCS is very low ??? Also, % of experianced people is higher when compared to other concerns !!!

Now the chance seems to be for 2006. So we should try for video iPod(50GB)

TCS has many onsite oppertunities so people never care about their salary :roll:

Onsite is not the only reason for staying in TCS. Not all people get long term onsite chance there.

It's like people's mentality! Most people equate TCS job with goverment service

It's like people's mentality! Most people equate TCS job with goverment service

Yes it's like government organisation in the sense that you dont need to work for extended hours !!! ..... only few projects as for as i know are more hectic here.

HI Srinivasa Raghavan

I am asking this just out of curosity

I see you are an MCP and SCJP and SQL certified

Even I did my MCP first( I was working in Networking domain then)

Moved to Java got my SCJP Certification and since Database knowledge is must, even I am preparing for SQL and PL-SQL

What about you

Have u also been following the same trend?

It's a big story, initially I was working in .NET for mid sized company and so I completed MCP, then I was interviewed in .NET in a MNC & got allocated to a JMS / WLI, hence SCJP. I like oracle more than any database and so oracle .. Now i'm preparing for SCWCD & PLSQL

we don�t any thing from Wipro , if we give any thing they will take and they will show as revenue
