I have a question here. if a web interface to the regular client is according to J2EE architecture using MVC,can i have
an admin interface which also uses the same ejb(i mean same controller servlet and model) but with a Applet GUI connecting
to the controller through Applet to servlet communication.
Here the admin also is needed to use most of the features the client does, and also he should keep track of client logins.
if above one is not possible, can anybody please suggest me a
proper architecture.
thanks in advance

Yup. This is what the security realm stuff in the deployment descriptors is all about.
