Dear All,
I know it's a dumb question, but i can't deploy WAR files. A friend of mine sent me the file to be used in TOMCAT 3.2. According to him, all i have to do is deploy it and the entire application he's built would run.
Can anybody help out. I'm confused. How do i use that file.
Please help.
P.s. I have tried reading it on SUN, and From Books. I'm still not getting it. what's This about Deploytool. I'm not getting that either...

Well Jaguar,
Can you tell me more about your OS, environment etc? Also, to use the deploytool, you need to have the J2EE SDK installed on your system. It's a free reference implementation provided by SUN Microsystems. While installing J2EE, make sure you set the classpath, path etc etc correctly.
Bye,
