MBT or Sapient

Hi Guys ...

need sugestion which company is better Sapient or MBT .
I am getting the same designation and salary in both the companies .

in terms of onsite travel ,worklife balance etc

Sapient is supposed to have better perks then MBT, but work pressure is more.

BTW, MBT where ? Pune ?

Is MBT still there? I came to know that it is now Mahindra Tech. and has nothing to do with British Telecom.

It's Tech Mahindra...and the 'partnership' is still there. It's just that they want to focus themselves in a better way.

And yes, compared to TM/MBT, Sapient is better !

sapient is better option.Also good thing there I have herd is that they are u also get involved into lots of requirement analysis sort of work.work load may be more.

Mahindra Tech prev MBT 70% revenue was dependent on British Telecom now they are trying to diversify their business but still it is more likely that one will get a chance to work in telecom domain, MBT's NOIDA office is recently established and is small as compared to their other offices in Mumbai and Pune. Quality of work is not good and yes pay is also not good but you will get a stable job.

Sapient has got large variety of projects and you will work in a non hierarchical organization. Quality of work all depend upon past experience the project for which you have been slated. Pay is good however job security is the only concern. Crowd is knowledgeable and friendly.

I'll have to disagree with this. Atleast in Noida they are paying pretty well. A friend of mine just got an offer of 9L pa, with 4.5 years of exp. He was getting 5L pa in CSC.

Things might have changed now or this guy might be an exception but still when we compare average salary Sapient will dominate over MBT.
