CITOS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Citigroup Inc., US. This is similar to previous experiments of Citi to "own" s/w companies like COSL - Citicorp Overseas Software Limited (which became Orbitech and then merged with Polaris), CITIL - Citicorp Information Technology India Limited (which became i-flex) etc. Note that there is no longer Citicorp - this company merged with Travelers Insurance Group in late 90s or early this decade to become what is known as Citigroup.

Pros - you would be working for THE largest financial company in the world, work culture at Citi is always better (than other "pure" s/w companies) and the best of all...you can learn a lot of business knowledge in the domain that you would be working on (Corporate Banking / Investment Banking etc - depending on the project that you land upon).

Hope this was helpful.
