You might also take a look at EJB Design Pattern by Floyd Marinescu.
There's a free e-book version.

"Core J2EE Patterns" is a good book. I think the design patterns in this book are available in the online in the java blueprints but they also discuss some other design considerations in the book.
"J2EE Design Patterns Applied" puts these patterns to use.
