When my entity bean has a CMP finder method, do I need to provide an implementation of the finder method using the EJB Query Language or does the container implement all finder methods?

Are finder methods for all entity bean attributes generated automatically by the container?

Finder and select methods are declared abstract. You don't implement them, the container does.
All you have to do is specify your query with EJB QL in the Deployment Descriptor.

You would be much easier to understand if you took that bucket off of your head. And that goes for the tiny ad too!
