Hello ranchers,

I am working with a well-known software firm in finance domain. I have been asigned a job of implementation in which i have a good chance of going onsite. But, my previous experience is as of developer and personally i also like development. Now, I am confused, and not able to decide what I shoud do ? Whether I should accept this new profile or ask for development job ?
Regards,
Ramesh Shah

What's the difference between implementing and developing ? Isn't it the
same, i.e. a developer is also implementing things. And before you can
implement software you need to "develop" a model of what you wish to develop.

Do you mean managing stuff and deploying applications ? Is that what you mean by implementation ?

I assume

Devlopment --> Coding work for software
Impelementation --> Implemeting the software for particular company which does not involve much coding but adapting the software as per the company's business requirement
