Hi Everyone,

I worked on EJB2 and would like to move to EJB3.0. I just want to know which version of J2EE supports EJB3.0. How far it is better to use EJB3.0 in our enterprise applications compared to EJB2. Please let me know the details.

Thanks in advance,
Narendranath

if you're running jboss they have a note on their download page

NOTE: EJB 3.0 can be installed by choosing "Run Installer" or by downloading and running jboss-4.0.3SP1-installer.jar.

hope that helps,

EJB 3.0 is part of the forthcoming J2EE 5

JSR 244

We are using EJB 3.0 in our work and right now just using Stateless Session Beans, and the way to create them is 2 minutes to create an interface, and then just create a POJO that implements the interface. There are a couple of Annotations to use, but it is that simple and then you don't have to worry about it.
