using views for entity beans not cmr(am i right?)

I am using database views with entity beans.I am not using CMR as i would have to create an entity bean for each table and then establish relationship between them.Actually i have no use for all those entity beans.
So i figured that by using views i would not require many entity beans.
But I am not quite sure if this is the right way to go about.

Am i correct by using views instead of CMR? Any help on this would be appreciated.
