Hello All,

Two days back my manager told me that he wants to discuss how I am doing (I joined new company 7/8 months back) and hence will take me out for lunch.

Today I think he totally forgot..I mean it's already 12.30 and no email or call from him :-)

I decided not to remind him today about the lunch as he can be very busy..
But should I remind him tomorrow about this?

What should I do in this case?

Thanks,
Trupti

I'll talk with him, if it's good news you'll know it, if he has some feedback for you, you can start working on it and if it's extremely bad news (which I don't think is the case) you can stop worrying.

If I am in your position I will definitely remind him. It gives you chance to understand whether your manager is happy with your work and what his future plans.

Hi Trupti,

Don't mind but I am not sure, if these are the kind of questions that you need to seek inputs from people for.

Aren't we mature enough to take such decisions on our own?

Moderators,
My feeling is these kind of questions dilute the importance of other discussions in the Jobs forum.

your call.

It's not off topic. It isn't breaking our "Be Nice" rule.
I think it's a fine conversation and there's no reason to interfere with it.
