Hi,

I have an enterprise application which has 2 ejb & 2 web modules. I need the application to hav a Single class loader. I am achieving this by manually changing the Class loading policy in Websphere [6.1] admin console.

Wanted to know is there any way to set this option in on of the deployment descriptors so that there wouldn't be any need for manual changing of this option?

Also, if you can point to same info for most application servers that would be great.
Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Markis

"Markis",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!
Scott

Weblogic Server has tag in it's deployment descriptors (weblogic-application.xml) for this. Tag name is [classloader-structure]
Pramati Application Server is also having similar tags. Not sure about others.
