Hi,

My problem is solved.

The problem occoured because of the folder remained opened. I solved it by simply writing <%inbox.close(true); %> in my jsp page as a scriptlet. It ensures that everytime the inbox link is clicked, the mails are fetched from the mailbox & not from the buffer & also the user fetches mails from the mailbox new at all the times.

Good to see that you got it working. But it's really considered bad design to put this kind of code into a JSP; much better to do it in a servlet or backing bean.

Yes,i know that keeping the java code inside the scriptlets is a bad design but i did it for testing purposes only because, the servlet needs to get compiled every now and then if changes are made to it but as with the case of jsp's, they get compiled when they are called.
