Hi

Is there a tool to validate the Java Beans against the specification. Any tool that comes with eclipse or Ant/Maven plugin?

I think any tool would be supplied by the EJB server provider. For example, Oracle Server's EJB Verifier validates the ejb-jar.xml against Document Type Definition (DTD) and verifies EJB classes classes for inconsistencies, WebLogic Server's appc compiler validates the deployment descriptors for compliance with the current specifications.

Not necessarily the EJB spec validator, can any tool verify against normal Java Bean spec.

Not really. There are some like Eclipse that make a good effort to. What you have to keep in mind is that although J2EE technology is designed to be modular, most implementations are still highly dependent on the application server platform. The best test is to deploy on a specific platform and record the errors on deployment.
