Dear Friends,
I have been searching for some interface to run dos commands
directly from applet/servelets,
Can any one guide me ? how this can be achieved ?

This is done using the command Runtime.getRuntime.exec(command). There have been several posts on this subject in the last month or so. Try searching on Runtime.getRuntime. You should get some useful info.
