That probably wouldn't work in this case, though, since "Web 2.0" has so little to do with Java development directly that it's unlikely people would pose questions about it here, no matter how hot the topic is elsewhere.
So the issue -as I see it- is more "would we want a forum that is different in style from most others?" We do have forums that are only tangentially related to Java, but to create a new one, answering Iljas question becomes even more important: What kind of questions/discussions would fit in there?
