Hi All,
I may be going off on the deep end here, but here goes. I am wondering if it is possible to code a program that can control another application from the surface, i.e. push buttons, write in text, etc. If this is possible, how would I go about finding out about it. Are there any books available? Thanks!

Barry

If the other application is a Java program, then you can do this using the java.awt.Robot class available in SDK 1.3. If it's not a Java program, I dunno - some sort of JNI connection to the mouse control software maybe?

Yeah, I only stumbled across if 'cause it had a cool name, but it turns out to be pretty useful for some things...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
