Hi All,
I got a free personal certifcate from thawte.com and
installed it in IE. When i try to export the file to use it
in java program, depending upon whether i export the
private key also or not, it generates .pfx file and .cer
file respectively.
But i dont know how to get the private key from .pfx
file.
I have another certificate installed in Netscape. When i
export it, it generates .p12 file. From which i am able
to retrieve the private key. But i am not able to get .cer
file from this certificate(which only has the public key).
Is there any way of getting .cer and .p12 files of the same certificate ?
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Ashok.
