Running a .exe from java program

hi all
I have a java program that calls or launches an exe .My problem is when i jar my java program along with exe , i am unable to run that exe from java program while if i keeps both in file system(unjar),my java program runs exe successfully .Please let me know wot all i need to do to run exe from java file when both be placed in a jar .

Since the operating system knows nothing about extracting .exe files from a JAR, I suspect what you want is impossible.
