Hi every body.

I have developing server application using java and start.sh and stop.sh. When stop server i kill process.
echo `ps -aefwww|grep java|grep -v grep|grep test.Server`|cut -d ' ' -f 2|xargs kill -KILL > /dev/null 2>&1

Do you have a good idea to stop this server?

It's a server, right? So implement a command within your service that stops the server. "stop.sh" then connects to the server and issues this command. Be sure to implement appropriate security controls.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
