hi! friends
i want to position my frame on the screen at a specific position.
what is the method of positioning a frame at a specific position.
i also want to fix the size of the frame so that noone will be able to resize the frame . neither minimize nor maximize.

Ajay,
Look into the setBounds(int x, int y, int width, int height) method in the Component class, which Frame inherits from... And the setResiable(boolean resizable)method in Frame... they should answer all your questions...
