It's my very first message board . I was inspired by JavaRanch to make it because, like what JavaRanch do, I hope it will also help people . hello i am new to the world of programming but i know a bit about hosting websites
here is my view of a possible answer
first of all you create an account with www.no-ip.com and register a domain (it is free) then you get that to link to your ip adress and you host your website from there and as mine and my friends experience it is a very good and secure way of doing this kind of thing without popups and spyware/malware/virii
we currently have a "minibox" running win2k and my friends website
