How to remove dispatcher?

Hi all,

Below is part of my coding, i do to remove the dispatcher by using the code

 KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().removeKeyEventDispatcher(this);

during the "Hello" method. But now, i would like to remove the dispatcher during the "anotherMethod" method after the "anotherMethod" have been executed. Can it be done? How can i make it? Can anyone help me? Thanks.

   public Hello () 
   {

      ....   
      ...
      KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().addKeyEventDispatcher(new KeyEventDispatcher()

Yes, it can be done. Just store a reference to the dispatcher as an instance member of your class:

    private KeyEventDispatcher keyDispatcher;

        keyDispatcher = new KeyEventDispatcher() {
            public boolean dispatchKeyEvent(KeyEvent e) {

            }
        }
        KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().addKeyEventDispatcher(keyDispatcher);
        .....
        ....   
        ....
    }
 
    private void anotherMethod()
    {
        KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().removeKeyEventDispatcher(keyDispatcher);
    }
 
}
