I am using FRAMES.oracle as backend.I want to get output from the datbase which i thought to get it on a TextArea.
but i thought of getting someother solution for that as the output is not the way i want...i mean "formatted".

I thought of using JTable but it looks as if it can only be used for download manager i mean NETWORK programs. can anyone suggest what will be the best way to get output from the backend when using "JFrame"

P.S.: I want output to be displayed on the same window, not to be dispalyed in a new file.

Thank you for giving your time

To have formated text you can use JTextPane and JEditorPane.

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/javax/swing/JTextPane.html

However JTable will suit your requiremnt.
