I installed apache jserv and has apache webserver running,
I read in the documentation that " http://localhost:80/jserv/ "
is default document in jserv but when I start apache webserver and try above url nothing comes , so how to use apache jserv with apache web server and how to run servlets with apache jserv,I mean what classpaths to set and which directories contain servlets .inshort after installing both apache web server and jserv how to start using them for running servlets and jsp?
thanks

ray,
have you had a look at the TOMCAT documentation - it explicitly details what steps top undertake to integrate JServ into APACHE.

Hai,
After installing the Apache webserver , when u are installing the Apache jserv it will ask u 3 questions that is
1)where ur jdk is installed - c:\jdk1.3\bin(change accordingly)
2)where is the the jsdk.jar file -c:\jsdk2.0\jsdk.jar(change accordingly)
3)where is the apache webserver installed c:\apache\ (change accordingly)
4)after this open the httpd.conf file and change the serverName to localhost or ur computername
5)Now copy the servlet class file servlet folder of apache.
6)Start the Apache WebServer
7)type in the browser http://localhost:80/servlet/filename
