What is JNDI ENC???

If some one can please explain what is JNDI ENC and how it works???

ENC stands for Environment Naming Context - it's a bean-container interface provided in EJB 1.1. It enhances the functionality provided by EJBContext, but does not replace it completely.
InitialContext jndiContext = new InitialContext();
Double limit = (Double)
jndiContext.lookup("java:comp/env/withdraw_limit");
IntialContext is the readily available ENC here.
