Servlets shouldn't be in htdocs directory. Aren't you using a servlet engine? All the classes should go to the servlets directory of the servlet engine (jrun, tomcat etc... ). The configuration might be a little different depending upon the servlet container. Beksy
Simply installing apache probably won't let you run JSP/Servlets. You have to install the extra modules as well. Here are your options: A. Download JServ from apache's website and use this as your link for your JSP/Sevlets B. Download Jacarta-Tomcat and link it up with Apache C. Install JRun and let it interact with your web server while running also your JSP/Servlets.
hi, you can get tomcat on the apache homepage. it is part of the jakarta project. if it is just for testing purpose, then you can use tomcat standalone (no other server for static html files) if it goes live with tons of hits, then you should consider running apache with tomcat for jsp/servlets. there are also other jsp/servlet engines (not all of them are free like tomcat) karl
