hi generous people!!!
sorry to disturb u all in ur busy schedule!!! well i need a clarification , i have a "Login. jsp " page used for getting user info and password and if both r correct then the next page called xyz.jsp is obtained , well what i want to do is that 1. if a query is made on to xyz.jsp on the browser then automatically the login.jsp should appear
2. if the user name and pass word is not correct then the same page"login.jsp " should exist until the user enters the correct user name and password .
can give some of ur useful suggestions.
With Reverent Regards From

Hi Vivek,
For the second question you can use RequestDispatcher Interface with JSDK2.1
If the user name or password is not correct, you will get in from the database, then use RequestDispatcher.forward and go to the log in page itself.
With JSDK2.0 use, sendRedirect("login.jsp");
Hope it helps.
The first question us not clear.
Thanks,
Maya
