Hi I have a requirement where in the URL displayed on the browser address bar should not change whatever link you click from page and however you navigate.
The URL displayed should always be that of the home page.

Also in the status bar instead of the link a title or static text has to be displayed when mouse is moved over link....

Ideas on how to do this are welcome.

You can do the former with either a frameset or by using one dispatcher servlet to forward to all of your JSPs.

The latter can be done with Javascript and CSS. Ask the guys in the Javascript forum how.

in which the use of html frames should be discouraged. It's no longer part of the core html specification even and hasn't been for some years (frames are now part of an extension to the specification).
