Hi All

I am using form based authentication where in if the user is prompted to a Login page for all requests which are classified in url-pattern section of web.xml.

So any resource url accessed by the user will redirect him to the Login page.
What I want to achieve is to trap the original requested URL so i can do a check in the Login page for certain requested URL's

I tried using the HttpRequest object method getRequestURL & getRequestURI but this returns the the url for the Login page itself but not the original requested URL

Do post your thoughts on the same

Regards
