I makre reference to my previous thread:
I'm still trying to set up an applet which will hold transient record data from other applets before they are flushed to database. Obviously using the a2a technique and making a self reference didn't do the trick.
So I was wondering if anyone has successfully used AppletContext.get(String applet_in_same_browser) to pass record data from a client applet to another applet with either an array list or hashmap?
Can someone point me to some documentation or sample codes please ?
My apologies for posting so many questions, but my requirement stays the same : how to create a class to hold transient records from other applets until they are ready to be flushed to database.
New tips, techniques etc most welcome.
TIA :-)
