Hi All,

Can any body tell why we are having sdk and jre in java.Is there any features or advantage of JRE.Since all our applications running using java which has been installed in sdk dir.We have same kind applications in JRE also. Which could be the usage of JRE?

This question probably belongs to the Beginner's forum?
Java Run Time (JRE) contains the JVM that is necessary to run all java programs.
Software Development Kit (SDK) is for programmers to compile the java programs.
