I think before compare performance .

you should be know both C# generic and Java Generic

C# Generic :: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnvs05/html/csharp_generics.asp

Java Generic :: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/language/generics.html

I'm not sure about the difference in execution efficiency between Java Generics and C# Generics... but ASAIK, I found others saying that C++ templates which works the similar way to Java Generics has lower performance than J2SE 5.0 Generics... I think that will be kind of grapevine and as long as we don't have official performance test on them by a research department or sthing, we cannot conclude which is better and which is worse...

So we hope to see such well-planned performance test later, after the official Tiger is released from the zoo named "Sun"..
