Have recently install (Sun Microsystems) J2EE 1.4 SDK, but when I go to start the Admin Console I get a 'Cannot find server' message, page cannot be displayed. It tries to load it on port 4848. Any ideas of how to solve the issue greatly appreciated. I've even tried turning off my firewall but that doesn't seem to do any good.

Did you start the server after installing it, before using the admin page?

I started the default server via the sun microsystems start menu option. Then I selected the Admin console from the same menu. But the response is still the same i.e a blank page saying 'Cannot find server'.
