I'm getting an error (MQJMS1046 The character set Cp037 is not supported) when I try to pick up messages on an MQ queues that were put there by a mainframe. I've included the charstes.jar file in my class. Any ideas what else I'm missing? I'm using a jre1.4.2_13.

I'm including the charsets.jar file in my classpath and I've compiled with it. Whyd do I continue to get this error?

Thanks for any help.

Paul,

A Google search links to several articles, including this one, where people encountering the same problem had to reinstall their JVM and customize the installed character sets.
