Java Application at StartUp

Hi friends ,

I have a JAR file which i would like to run on STARTUP of Operating System. Can someone please let me know how is that achievable ??

On Windows, you can use any of a number of tools to turn that application into a Service (e.g. Java Service Wrapper). Those can be set to run at startup.

On Unix, something like this should do the trick.

Hi,
I would like to suggest asimple technique for windows
write a batch file specifying the jar file
put the batch file in your startup directory.
