Hi,

Did you find a suitable solution to your search? If not I have a service that may be of help to you, and I am looking for a few beta testers.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks.

Hi - Its painful to resurrect such an old thread but I am currently looking for the same Open Source EDI library! Is there any Open Source solution API that can be integrated with Java?

- Thanks

EDI is generally used in enterprise contexts; and being a complex specification, I doubt that fully functional quality open source packages exist. I advise to look into commercial solutions.

SearchFirst...

But to answer the question: Yes.

Altova has one that is commercial.

The OBOE-project released the 3.8.0-version in May. http://www.americancoders.com/OpenBusinessObjects/

There are a lot of other out there to that translates to and from different flavors of EDI. just Google for the more exact one you need.
