Check out the Campfire stories here at JavaRanch - You can access it through the main page. I won't post the link - I would encourage you to explore this site.
Any introductory book should have a decent explanation (with examples) on polymorphism.
Use the search facility for this discussion forum to get more examples and explanations.
Use Google for a wider search.
As you study keep a list of "doubts" and try to search for the answers yourself first.
Play around with some code to try out these new concepts - then when you have a doubt or get stuck - post your query.
