Me: Why nobody in JavaRanch bother to answer my questions?
My Conscience: How many answers you have given to fellow ranchers?
Me: Umm...but I'm new to Java. I have got only questions, no answers.
My Conscience: Probably they are busy. You know, they spend as much time as possible to help others. But hey, they have got only 24 hours.
Me: But I can see that they are answering all other questions. Why they are ignoring me?
My Conscience: Ignoring? Nonsense. Did you framed the questions properly? Posted it in the correct forum?
Me: I guess I did my best.
My Conscience: Might be they don't have the answers.
Me: But I have seen them giving excellent answers to much more difficult questions than mine.
My Conscience: Then it is probably because that they just missed to read your questions.
Me: Hmmm....no. I'm not satisfied with that answer. There should be some better reason for this.
My Conscience: Ok. Here is the actual reason. They didn't answer your questions because "YOUR QUESTIONS ARE STUPID"
Me:......

Did you
Try to find an answer by searching the Web ?
Try to find an answer by reading the manual ?
Try to find an answer by reading a FAQ ?
Try to find an answer by inspection or experimentation ?
Try to find an answer by asking a skilled friend ?
Go through the entire page.

Create a well formed question?
Provided enough information to help solve the problem?
Remember all we have here is what you give us. We don't know what you are trying to do. We don't know the overall scope. We only know the small window that the question comes in. Someone may be able to answer that particular question but who knows if the overall design is flawed. If the question isn't phrased correctly, people may not even know what is being asked.
Try looking at your question like you know absolutely nothing about what is going on and ask yourself if you could answer the question.

Make sure that your question is clear and concise and asked in the correct forum.
Is there a particular question that you would like answered?

Yes and No.
Thanks for the link. I found the answer there
post a very elementary question to a forum where advanced technical questions are expected. See, this is exactly what my Conscience told me
But my initial post was not to criticize anybody. I feel very sorry, if it sounded that way.
I'm quite new to Java (to be frank, I'm quite new pragramming itself). My job is not to develop software and I know I'm too old to learn something new and get a job. I'm learning Java just to satisfy myself. Because of my lack of knowledge, my questions might sound silly among the experts here.
My initial post was nothing but a exposure of my self-pity
But sorry again, if that was hurting.

I know, it sounds silly, but thatz the truth.
And...hey I'm getting answers for all my questions now
I got the answer for my initial question in this thread.
I should have more patience.
