hello friends I am bascically a green horn at programmers certification section.I cleared my Sun certification(scjp) on sep 2000 with 88% from India.now I am at New York just finished 1 project on VB ,so i was out of touch with java & want to join cattle drive.........kindly guide me how do I acceed so that I am parallely in the same line/assignment with other guys.

You have to start from the beginning, at the first assignment, Java-1 (Hundred). Once you have written it, send it in to nitpick@javaranch.com. They will suggest changes in their reply, which you then make, and send it in again. Eventually, they will approve your code, and then you send in the next assignment. But, you must start at the first one, and only send in that first assignment. You cannot submit more than one assignment at a time, and you canot skip assignments. You MUST do them in order.
Follow the "Cattle Drive" link at the top of the main page for all the details. And be sure to post in the "Assignment Log", so you can be added to the list of students maintained by Johannes De Jong.
