visualize a Tree and tree traversal

hi,
I have to visualize an xml file as a tree and to show tree traversal by hightlighting the edges(step by step animation).
can anyone suggest where can i strat or is there any open source project for java tree implementation and visualization?

javax.swing.JTrees work well with XML models - you could build something using one of these. Hava a look at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/components/tree.html
