I'm think I'm going to drink down the street until this place cools off. Cheers.

Rufus: Would Catholics donate money to an atheist youth group? Would you consider the Catholics to be "sad", if they failed to do so?
I have to be stricter with myself and get a life. Why am I here? Talking to people who self-label themselves as "The Saint"? I should have my head examined.
And no I won't give a thought to those poor poor christian youth groups that don't get financial aid from me. Good Grief.

I would certainly donate to an atheist group if they were doing good work. And I would consider someone "sad" if they refused to support them because they disagreed with a philosophy. Do you refuse to help the Salvation Army? Catholic Charities?
And I'm not self-named. I was given this title.

The guy who was forced to self label as "The Saint": Do you refuse to help the Freedom from Religion Foundation? Do you refuse to help the International Action Center? Do you refuse to donate to Moveon.org?
I agree to disagree - which is what Greg proposed.

I have never refused to help any of those organizations. Do they help the poor? Build social programs in disadvantaged neighborhoods? Run soup kitchens? Teach our youth to avoid crime and drugs? If they do then I will be glad to help them.

Now there's a fundamental concept on which we can all agree--individuals have a right to liberty.
Do we all agree that the Iraqi people lack that rights supported by libertarians?
Do we all agree that the Iraqi people will enjoy enhanced individual liberties once Saddam is removed from power?
Do we all agree that the US military is a volunteer organization?
Do we all agree that American citizens are free to join or not join that US military?
Prior to American involvement in Afghanistan women lacked the right to leave their homes without a berka. Can we all agree that today women are free to walk in public without a berka? Do we all agree that this is positive change?
Prior to American involvement in Afghanistan, female doctors were not permitted to practice medicine. Can we all agree that today female doctors are once again permitted to work? Do we all agree that this is a positive change?
Can we all agree that American involvement in Afghanistan has enhanced individual liberties in Afghanistan?
