Response from Oracle officials:

We are glad that you are anxious for these [MZ: JEE6] exams to come into production! These are still under review. They have taken a little longer than our normal process. We expect them to be released in production sometime in January, provided we do not run into any snags along the way.

Update from Oracle officials:

Kindly note that the beta exam results will be available by mid of February 2011. We are sorry for all the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding on this.

Yes of course in February -_-
And in February we'll have a new mail saying that the results will be again postponed to march !

It's really disrespectful from Oracle I think

Anyway, thanks for keeping up informed !

I will like to book for it but I first need to hear from those who took the beta exam after they got their results,
if they will ever get them soon this year.

Isn't the main objective to digest the specification ? Nonetheless, I'd like to see detailed objectives too.

In case of SCBCD 6 - it's more easy, I agree, it's enough to read single EJB 3.1 specification. (same with SCWCD 6 and JPA 2.0 exams)

In case of SCDJWS 6 - there is no just a single specification, and tipics are very broad.

So, are there any recommended textbooks for this? For SCJP there was the Kathy Sierra book, and for SCBCD I read around that the standard book was the O'Reilly book on EJBs.

Is the EJB 3.1 book by OReilly the one to read for CX-310-093?

Yes, just skip JPA chapters.

Also, you can read EJB 3.1 specification (JSR-318)

Thanks.

One last: are there any mock exams for the test out there? I wouldn't expect to find anything yet, but have you heard of anything?

One week delivery is probably to USA (a.k.a. Default Country ).
In Belarus score reports delivery takes normally about 4...5 weeks.

Probably because the Beta costed $50 - so people spent time on reading docs before rushing to test center.

Which is still cheaper than the exam will be.

My attitude was that if I pass it cool, otherwise it was a slightly pricey test

I believe, this might decreased the number of test takers by 90%, compared with free Betas.

For the mail I found that a little bit surprising..
Because I passed the exam with prometric so how oracle could know my email ?
On the PerseanVue and Oracle CertView sites there is no trace of my EJB certification. So how Oracle could link my Oracle ID with my Prometric ID ?

You don't need to wait, study guide already out - it's JSR specification, read and you're ready to go.

Any book is written based on specifications, so you can use the primary source in your study.

Pro JPA2 by Apress may help you too. But it's not a study guide.
