Hi

I am now able to create a an executable jar for  stand alone application programme in java which works on double click.
But a program in java using randomaccesfile that uses a .bin file to run the program is a misnomer
for creating by maven since the MANIFEST.MF does include only mainClass Attribute and does not bother to
include the essential file viz .bin  file without which the java program does not work.
Will any one help to make  the pom  with this attribute (additional data file ) enabling such files  inclusion
in the pom.xml
thanks

Please post your POM, what command you used, and what happened afterwards.

I don't understand what it is you're trying to do. Your topic was about creating an executable JAR through Maven. It seems you have figured out how to do that. Is there something else that you want Maven to do? If so, please:

1) Create a new topic for your new problem.
2) Clearly explain your goal.
3) Show us your POM.
4) Show us what command you executed.
5) Show us the output of executing the command.
6) Tell us what you're stuck on.

Hi
From the inception my goal  was to successfully install a web page for the same pom
I used the command:
mvn tomcat7:deploy
mvn tomcat7-mcven-plugin-2.2 <goal=run-war-only/>
Though first one output ok,
second one (above)
is stuck-up
It is here i wanted help
Thanks
