hi everyone

can anyone give me the exact link from where i can download the full jdk 1.5 kit
i searched in the sun's site but it is just an update
is this what i am supposed to download?
also i have jdk1.2 installed on my comp. do i need to uninstall it in order to install 1.5

help will be appriciated

The JDKs on the Sun Site are full JDKs. The "update" being referred to is the minor fixes applied to them.

For example, "J2SE 5.0 update 6" is the 6 minor revision to JDK 5. It does *not* mean that you need the previous versions pre-installed. It just means that if you have "update 5", you don't have the latest revision installed.

Should i uninsatll jdk1.2 installed on my comp or will it update automatically ??
