Last year I was sucked of doing job for someone else so I decided to start my own business so I made a partnership firm with one of my friend and started our small business we also got some projects from one of the big telecom giants but things went wrong and I decided to shut down my shop. I would like to know how many of you would prefer starting your own business rather than working for someone else for your whole life, does anybody have seriously think over starting his/her own business in any field has anybody succeeded in becoming a enterpreneur from a worker. I would like to share some ideas please dont move this to job discussion forum as that forum is typically meant for jobs discussion not for the business discussion.

You could get someone else's idea and run a franchise for them. Which is a step removed from working for someone else.

A good franchise will take care of their own labels and should provide relatively free training. Just my 2 pence.

I for one don't see myself working for a paycheck for long.

I am saving up to finance my own company.
Things would have gone a lot faster if I had a partner.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find someone who shared the same business interest.
I am not interested in venture capital financing either.

I think I am six months away from launching...

Or you could work on contract. I incorporated primarily to make working on contract easier, I don't know if Sameer would consider that a "business".

What do you have to say for yourself? Hmmm? Anything? And you call yourself a tiny ad.
