Yesterday, I brought my chihuahua to the pet clinic for sterilization. After the operation, I was worried she might lose her appetite. Guess what? Her usual appetite resumed when she was back home.

Before the sterilization, she was given a pre-anesthetic blood test. The result showed that her protein level was high. The vet advised me to feed her with some vegetables as well. Usually, I feed her with Solid Gold Holistique Blendz Adult Dog (fish) and plain boiled meat (chicken, fish, beef).

I just wonder what do you feed your dog.

Chicken thigh meat (the by-product of making chicken stock for freezing) and Science Diet Small Bites (Adult).

1 small doggie biscuit in the morning...
occasional raw chicken neck for lunch...
mixture of "Eukanuba Lite" dry food and bits of a chicken based meat-loaf roll thingo for dinner...
(or if we've run out of meatloaf - half a can of Pedigree Chum "Little Champions")

oh and of course occasional crusts from my toast (she goes MAD for toast?!) ...and pork chop rind ..and strangely - grapes!

Kibble, mostly "Go! Natural" and "Wellness Fish and Sweet Potato". We've tried several other brands but he likes these best. We have been considering BARF (Bones and Raw Food).

As for the treat, my dog loves the craZy bitZ peanut butter nuggets. She also likes to eat fruits like apple and pear.
